2025 DHI SUMMER PARTY

It’s almost time! The DHI company party is fast approaching, and with it, a day of fun and food. Bring your family and appetites for a chance to mix, mingle, and eat with your DHI coworkers.
This year’s activities will again include:
- Traditional BBQ picnic at Lions Park
- Employee-only golf tournament at The Links at Sleepy Ridge
- Your family’s choice of ONE of the following:
- Heber Hatchets axe throwing experience
- Megaplex movie passes + concessions credit
- Splash Summit Waterpark season pass
- Thanksgiving Point gift card
- Topgolf one-hour experience

The Fine Print
With the exception of the golf tournament, participation in all activities is available to DHI employees and their immediate, dependent family members living at home. Married children, grandchildren, and friends are not eligible to participate. All single employees may invite one guest.
Paid holiday time is given to all employees, based on the schedule below:
- Full-time employees = 4 hours
- Part-time employees = 2 hours
These hours may be used any day during the week of the party. All paid holiday time should be coordinated with supervisors.

Picnic in the Park
Lions Park
950 W. 1280 North, Provo
5:30–7 p.m.
Meal: Marvellous Catering will serve their ever-popular BBQ dinner, featuring steak, grilled teriyaki chicken breast, hamburgers, and hot dogs. Sides include Dutch oven potatoes, baked beans, and spinach and pasta salads. Dessert will top off the meal with a scrumptious ice cream sundae bar.
Location: The picnic will be held at Lions Park. Both pavilions are available to attendees, and extra tables and chairs will be provided to accommodate our group. Feel free to bring your own blankets or chairs, if you’d like.
Along with the delicious food and family fun, several of you in attendance will be going home with a little extra cash in your pockets.
Employee Golf Tournament
The Links at Sleepy Ridge
730 S. Sleepy Ridge Dr.
Tee times begin at 7:03 a.m.
The tournament will take place at the Links at Sleepy Ridge in Orem. Green fees, carts, and range balls are provided for all participants. This is a team competition, and as such, employees may organize their own foursomes. Golfers without a team will be assigned to one.
This year, we will continue the four-person team scramble format, but we’ve modified the tournament rules to improve competitiveness and the pace of play:
- Participation is limited to employees ONLY–no family members or guests.
- Teams are not required to use a tee shot from each player.
- The maximum score on each hole is a bogey plus penalty strokes. (This means four strokes on a par 3; five on a par 4; and six on a par 5.) Once a team has taken the maximum number of strokes, that team will move on regardless of whether they’ve completed the hole.
More details will be provided to participants on the day of the party.
Family Activity Passes
For 2025, DHI is offering a variety of family activities, and each family may choose ONE activity per household. This year, each registrant/eligible family member (see The Fine Print section of this brochure) will be given a $35 gift card for that activity. Note: Those who choose a season pass to Splash Summit will receive a voucher instead of a gift card.
Here are brief descriptions of the options:
Heber Hatchets, axe throwing experience
261 N. University Avenue, Provo
Cost: $17/hour/person
Channel your inner cowboy/cowgirl with an hour-long axe throwing experience. Compete against your family or simply perfect your skills as you aim for the bullseye.
This option is for anyone 11+, and participation forms are required. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 5—10 p.m.; Friday, 5—11 p.m.; and Saturday, 1—11 p.m.
Megaplex, movie passes + concessions credit
Any Megaplex location
Cost: Varies according to movie times and age
Enjoy watching the movie of your choice on the big screen with your family. This gift card also includes enough money for an allowance for concessions. Movies, showtimes, and seat availability are available online.
Splash Summit Waterpark, season pass
1330 E. 300 North, Provo
This is the gift that keeps on giving, particularly for the duration of the 2025 summer season. Vouchers will be delivered to employees no later than the date of the party, so employees can take them to the Splash Summit office and exchange them for official season passes.
Office hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 1—5 p.m. (Note: You will need to purchase a parking pass, either for the day or season.)
Thanksgiving Point, gift cards
3003 N. Thanksgiving Way, Lehi
Cost: Varies according to activity and age
Use your gift card to visit any attraction at Thanksgiving Point, including the Mountain America Museum of Ancient Life, Butterfly Biosphere, Ashton Gardens, Curiosity Farms, Museum of Natural Curiosity, and more. You can also use it at the gift shop, restaurants, and for golf. The sky is the limit with this selection.
Topgolf, one-hour experience
484 N. Entertainment Way, Vineyard
Cost: $60/hour/bay
This option provides you with a bay for your group for up to one hour. Each bay is a flat rate of $60/hour for 2—6 participants, so the more people in your bay, the less you pay. You can also get more for your buck by going on half-price Tuesdays or on a weekday before 5 p.m. (Note: There is a $5 lifetime membership fee for first-time players.)
The hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m.—11 p.m.; and Friday through Saturday, 10 a.m.—midnight.
